For the past year I have been able to work on the most fun and inspiring collaboration: IKEA x Zandra Rhodes! Throughout I have been able to take part in the project from the initial spoken ideas all the way to having the finished products. It was a joy to be able to design prints that mix Zandra’s eclectic flair with IKEA’s Scandinavian style which expanded my creative vision. Product images to come when collection is released.
Tasks:
Hand illustrating artwork for prints featured on products.
Digitising artwork and creating seamless repeats and placement prints.
Translating ideas into visuals
Using CAD to create product specs.
Assisting the art director in all aspects of the project.
Taking part in design meetings in the IKEA HQ in Malmo, Sweden.
